How I Did on The Pre-Quiz on "W3School Quiz Test"

On the Pre-Quiz, I got a score of 52% by answering 13 out 25  questions right spending a time of 4 minutes and 11 seconds on the quiz in total. The questions that I got wrong and need to work on are as follows;
"5. What is the correct HTML for adding a background color?
8. What is the correct HTML for creating a hyperlink?
10. How can you open a link in a new tab/browser window?
11. Which of these elements are all <table> elements?
12. Inline elements are normally displayed without starting a new line.
13. How can you make a numbered list?
14. How can you make a bulleted list?
16. What is the correct HTML for making a text input field?
17. What is the correct HTML for making a drop-down list?
18. What is the correct HTML for making a text area?
20. What is the correct HTML for inserting a background image?
21. An <iframe> is used to display a web page within a web page.".
I am hoping and planning by the next time the I take the test that I will know all the correct answers the these questions by heart.

Intro to HTML

For the first lesson in HTML, I used the tags <html>, <head>, <title>, <body>, <h1>, <h4>, <p>, <br/>, </html>, </p>, </h1>, </h4>, </body>, </head>,  and </title>.  The software that I used in order to do this is Notepad. When I typed it on to the Notepad software it looked like the following.
When I ran the program after saving it as  JenniferKiley1.html, the program looked totally different. This is what the result was.

What I hope to learn on this topic as I continue with the class is how web pages have all the colors and images that they contain added to them.

What My Answer's to Other People's Binary Codes Were

Today in class, I had the task to go onto 3 other classmates blogs and solve their Binary Codes.
For Natalie's at http://nataliesexcompsci.blogspot.com/ the answer that I ended with was "Merry Christmas" for her off symbol she used a minus sign and for her on symbol she used a plus sign.  The second student blog the I went on to belongs to Allie, at http://allieexplr.blogspot.com/. The answer that I ended with for her binary code was "I am bored".  For her off sign she used a frowning smiley face and for her on sign she used a smiling smiley face.  The final student blog I went onto was one that belongs to Michelle at http://michelleecs.blogspot.com/.  The answer that I figured out from her binary code was "help Im stuck in a well".  For her off sign she used an "N" and for her on sign she used an "O".
