Playing 20Q's

For playing "20 Questions", I played it twice. The first time I did a movie question, and the second time a TV show character question.  The movie that I selected was the film "RED" that came out in 2010.  And the TV show character that I did was Leroy Jethro Gibbs from NCIS.
When I was playing the movie question the AI (artificial intelligence), never guessed the correct answer even after asking a total of 30 questions.  After giving up after the 30 questions I entered the correct result.  Because the AI never guessed the correct answer I was very excited that I beat the computer, and found the game to be very fun especially when trying to out smart it.  The only thing that the movie round left me wondering is "how come the AI didn't know the answer? Surely some other player has chosen RED before?" But over all I was happy to win.
When I played the TV show character question the AI was able to guess what the answer was on the 17th question.  I was a little disappointed that I lost the game but also excited that the AI new the answer that I was thinking of.  It also made me wonder how many other people have used the same TV show character as me for when they played 20Q's.
Overall I found the 20Q game that I played at www.20q.net/ to be a very interesting and entertaning and I highly encourage others to at least try this game out at least once.

Native American Design #3: Navajo Rug Weaver

To create this design I used the “point”, the “line”, the "rectangle", and “triangle” tools.  As well as trying to keep the images patterns constant , keep the actual dimensions similar to that of the picture, and keeping the spacing’s even, by double checking the coordinates for both the “X” points and “Y” points before I entered them into the coordinate boxes.  The challenge of this was to make sure that the design was trying to not mess up dimensions and distances between each shape.  Another challenge was trying to figure out what to do with the extra space that was present.  In the end I decided to keep the shapes going in the same manner that had been occurring from when I started the design.

Native American Design #2 Pacific Northwest Basket Weaver

To create this design I used the “point”, the “line”,  and the "rectangle" tools.  As well as trying to keep the images patterns constant and keep the actual dimensions similar to that of the picture by double checking the coordinates for both the “X” points and “Y” points before I entered them into the coordinate boxes.  The challenge of this was to make sure that the design was trying to not mess up the multiple patterns going and keeping the colors in each pattern the right colors.  Another challenge was trying to figure out what to do with the extra space that was present.  In the end I decided to just continue with what the previous line before the next line was but also to make the pattern either facing a different way or at a different angle.

Native American #1: Virtual Bead Loom

To create this design I used both the “point” and the “line” tools.  As well as trying to keep the image symmetrical by double checking the coordinates for both the “X” points and “Y” points before I entered them into the coordinate boxes.  The challenge of this was to make sure that the design was symmetrical and to try and make it so I would not run out of space on the graph when making the design.

Intro to Exploring Computer Science Assignment

I'm currently a high school student of the class of 2016. So far I have two blogs one that I started in middle schoolhttp://jenkrdg1112.edublogs.org/ and now this one in high school. Interests are Singing and the Preforming arts. As well as doing a variety of community services and helping others. I enjoy learning new skills and other forms of information.  Also I enjoy helping others learn. Favorite movies are RED and also Hotel Transylvania. Favorite music is "Waiting for Superman" by Daughtry and  "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day. Favorite book is Naruto. I'm taking ECS in order to learn more about computers and to understand better how programing is done. I am looking forward to learning more about programing and hope to soon be able to share some of what I have been doing and learning on this blog.
